Bus Stop Improvements Under Way

Currently, the bus stops on Santa Monica Blvd. in the BID are undergoing renovation through the MTA's Bus Stop Improvement Project, made possible through a grant won by the BID several years ago.

The new bus stops will include pedestrian lighting, new benches, planter pots, trash receptacles, and colored concrete in the pattern of a film strip. Much of the work is already done, but we are still awaiting the installation of the lighting. No date has been given.

Annual Meeting being planned

The Hollywood Media District is preparing for our 9th Annual General Meeting of Property and Business Owners. The tentative date is set for Sept. 18, and the location will once again be the rooftop of Iron Mountain. More details will be posted as they are confirmed!
